Proofreading Commissions
Proofreading commissions can be undertaken at rates consistent with the current SfEP (Society for Editors and Proofreaders) guidelines. See link.

Typical rates are given below, but charges can be negotiated for specific contracts.

Special rates available for registered charities.

£ 17 – 22 per hour, incl. VAT, depending on content (approx. 2-3000 words)

£ 3.75 per page, incl. VAT (approx. 300 words)

This is a very cost-effective way of ensuring your publications are professionally finished and give the right impression. Your documents will be amended using British Standard proof-correcting symbols.
